This week, we will be running at Candy Cane City @ 7:00 AM ET on Saturday, June 27th. The coaches will be Nick and Sid.
Seminar: Coach Kirk will be giving a seminar on Yoga.

Reminder: We require runners to carry fluids, as we get into the slog months of summer and increase training distances. Please carry your own fluids! Saturday will be another hot one!
Meeting Point: Candy Cane City Park in Chevy Chase, MD at 7901 MeadowBrook Lane. We are meeting at Baseball field #1 in the parking lot by the backstop off the baseball field.
Directions: Here is a link to the parking and run location.
Distance: The scheduled mileage is 11 miles for marathon trainees and 4 miles for the half-marathon trainees.
Route:
Full Marathoners: 11 miles: Runners will go to Wise Road and back to the start for 3 miles and then will continue on the Rock Creek Trail to the water fountain/porta-john across Cedar Lane and return to the start.
Half Marathoners: 4 miles: Runners will go to Wise Road and back to the start for 3 miles and then will continue on the Rock Creek Trail to East-West Highway and return to start for 4 miles.

Aid Stations: There will be one aid-station at the start/3 mile/finish area and another one before Connecticut Av and Beach Drive. This will provide aid at mile 3 for everyone and for the marathoners at miles 6, 7 (water fountain), and 9.
