Iqraa (Read) is a running group dedicated to supporting education for Palestinian youth. We are a non-partisan, non-sectarian group. Iqraa runners commit to fund-raising for education projects selected by our NGO partner, United Palestinian Appeal. We provide guaranteed entry for the Marine Corps Marathon. Runners participate in a training program provided by Marathon Charity Partners and its coaches in Washington, DC. MarrowMinded is an Arlington, Virginia based non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about Leukemia in the Asian community. Since 1998, MarrowMinded has worked with NMDP (National Marrow Donors Program) and NIH (National Institutes of Health) and SAMAR (South Asian Marrow Association). We organize drives across the greater Washington DC metropolitan area to register Asians and other minorities to be potential marrow donors.
