We are back at it on Saturday September 11th at Peirce Mill @ 7:00 AM. The coach will be Kirk.
 
Sign Up: PLEASE sign-up for each training run. Please click on the following link
and enter your information. Please Sign Up by Thursday (9/9) at Noon. 
 
Meeting Point: Picnic Area 1 pavilion at Peirce Mill (there are three parking lots close by). You can also park on Shoemaker Street and Spring of Freedom Lane near the Embassy of Hungary. See map link below.

Directions/Parking: Please use the following link for a map to the meeting point. We will meet at the picnic area pavilion.
 
Start Time: 7:00 AM

Distance: The scheduled mileage is 12 miles for marathon and half-marathon trainees.

Course: 
 
Full/Half Marathoners: 12 miles:  The route starts heading south along the Rock Creek Trail (RCT) for ~1.4 miles to the tunnel entrance, turnaround, then ~5.5 miles north on RCT and Beach Drive to Wise Road (the high point on Beach Drive). Return downhill on Beach Drive, with a out-and-back detour (0.8) mile total) on the closed Bingham Road. Turn south (right) from Bingham Road back to Peirce Mill.

Aid Station:  Peirce Mill pavilion (~miles 0, 3, 12) and at Picnic Grove #7 (~miles 5.5 and 9).
