This week, we will be running in Reston @ 7:00 AM ET on Saturday, June 1st. The coaches will be Vandana and Subhash.

Please note we are starting at 7 AM this week and every week until training week 24.
 
Please ensure you bring water and/or a sports drink with you on the run this week as the weather is getting warm and humid.
 
Before the run: Coach Vandana will lead us in a demonstration of Streching Basics.

Meeting Point: 12196 Sunset Hills Road,Reston, VA 20190. We will be meeting behind the YMCA. For directions, please click here.

Distance: The scheduled mileage is 7 miles for marathon trainees and 3 miles for the half-marathon trainees.

Route:

Full Marathoners: 7 miles: Marathon trainees will run 1.5 miles East on the W&OD trail to milepost 17.0, then West 3.5 miles on the trail to milepost 20.5 and back 2 miles to finish the run.
 
Half Marathoners: 3 miles: Half-Marathon trainees will run 1.5 miles East on the W&OD trail to milepost 17.0 and back.
